A play by James Clevenger, the author of The Mice Plays, The Farm of Henry Kaiser, A Persecution Story, Pursued by a Runaway Train and The Truth Behind the Murders.
“Gifts are important. They’re a reflection of one soul’s thoughts about another,” or so says a TV doctor that Beth listens to. The problem? Her brother-in-law, Marty, gives gifts to Beth’s sister, Gladys, that are questionable in Beth’s eyes. For example, a spoon with a handle shaped like a squid. Also, a dog collar which is encased in glass. Though Beth is having an intervention to break up her sister’s marriage, her sister loves the gifts. When Beth finds out why, she questions Cliff’s love for her. Find out what the heck is going on, in this one act comedy about love.
